That’s quite a scary web – looks dense and strong.
Much longer than the norm, for sure! lots of little unfortunate gnat type insects met their fate in it!!!

I was attending to an orchid in another crook of that tree,(not in the pic) and noticed it on my peripheral vision!
I was just happy I saw IT before it saw me!
Wow you captured that spider web beautifully and even got the spider too. I hope it’s a beneficial spider. It’d be a big help on pest control since it spans so much territory.
