Vero Beach is home to McKee Botanical Gardens and one of the nation’s largest outdoor collections of waterlilies. I took this photo last March, and love how the pads “sit” atop the palm tree’s reflection. 🙂

I’m a fan of waterlilies. There is something magical about them when in full bloom. I planted several in my previous house but sadly I had to leave them behind. I did have great memories of them together with goldfishes and a turtle. Thanks for helping me remember.
Isn’t it nice when a long forgotten good memory shows up?
BTW, since writing this waterlily post, I’ve been considering growing some (or at least attempting it!) in huge bowls. 🙂 Definitely worth a little research, yeah?
