Sometimes the sun is “just right,” illuminating things you might otherwise miss:
This spiderweb was so loonnggg……
Attached to every air plant in the crooks of my backyard tree:
Until next time…..

soooo cool!
Amazing and beautiful! That was a busy spider!!
Looks like she’s built a whole city of entrapment, poor insects 🙂
That’s quite a scary web – looks dense and strong.
Much longer than the norm, for sure! lots of little unfortunate gnat type insects met their fate in it!!!
That is quite a web… would love to see what the spider looked like….
I thought it might be the one in the first picture (seen better in the header) but maybe not…it does look sort of small!
You captured it well. 😉
Many thanks, Eliz!
I love spiderwebs caught in sunlight!
thank you!
I was just happy I saw IT before it saw me! 🙂 I was attending to an orchid in another crook of that tree,(not in the pic) and noticed it on my peripheral vision!
Wow you captured that spider web beautifully and even got the spider too. I hope it’s a beneficial spider. It’d be a big help on pest control since it spans so much territory. 🙂
