A month ago, I shared a pic of this fall’s first bauhinia bloom. Since then, hundreds more have opened…..
and with the exception of one side….
…..the tree is awash in a sea of pink:

The bloom phase IS lovely but we all know the story of the Beauty and the Beast! Bauhinias are part of the bean family and when the flowers drop, long woody beanpods take their place. Beastly clean-up!!!
