Mystery Solved and Merry Christmas, of course! :) :)

Remember the plant I couldn’t identify?

Conoclinium coelestinum, 12/24/12

Mystery solved ➡ turns out it’s a wildflower with an unpronounceable scientific name: Conoclinium coelestinum. (So let’s just call it blue mistflower instead.)

The real reason for today’s post is to wish you all a Merry Christmas!  I thoroughly enjoy everyone’s blogs and pictures, and of course, the comments you leave after reading mine! Thank you! 🙂

Last year while Maggie and I were decorating for the holiday, we made a VERY silly, (and shaky!) 2min. Video Christmas Card for Jack and TC. At that point I’d only been blogging a week or two and had no idea how to embed it….but now I do.  Unfortunately, the boys can’t be here tomorrow (both started with new companies In November so no vacation time!) but the sentiment’s the same and extends to all of you!  Before you click it, a word about our little vid’s  “soundtrack”….since 1999, the 4 of us would put up the tree and wrap presents while singing and dancing to Guster’s Lost and Gone Forever. I know….it’s a bit wierd but you’ll get a chuckle out of how bad this is….in the very best way 🙂

Have fun this whole week!

Merry Christmas!
