With temps in the low 80s, little humidity, and a bright cloudless sky, this first week of June has been an incredible gift! ย The pictures tell the story. ๐
Until next time….

Pictures like that need no words… beautiful…
๐ Days like these are really special.
Gorgeous photos! Thank you for the link back to my blog! ๐
Pingbacks are our friends! ๐
Fabulous! It actually gets quite humid during the summer in the UK and it tends to make me feel ever so tired.
Oh and what that humidity does to our hair!
Never a good hair day in high humidity!!!
Oh what perfect weather, I’m really cold sitting here!
My middle son just arrived yesterday for a summer visit and he said the same thing about Massachusetts. It doesn’t really get consistently warm there until July and by August the temps are dropping at night. Short season but such wonderful autumns as it seems yours are, too. I miss that part.
The summers here are quite dastardly hot (mid 90s) so getting a stretch of this “cooler” weather has been fantastic!
Also enjoying this weather…I have a question…do you have Poncianas up there?
I have only seen a very few and they never flower anywhere near the magnitude of the ones I’ve seen further south. Whenever we’ve driven south of Palm Beach I start noticing how well they do and how many houses have them!
I think Vero must be a bit too far north.
Just yesterday I noticed one very anemic one at the entrance to my mother’s development (out by the entrance to rt95 here) Def too far north for them to look their best!
I think Ft Pierce may be the limit..have you been to the Treasure Coast Bromeliad society meetings?
Beautiful! Plus I miss the tropical plantings so much. Lovely.
Oh thank you Cathy! I always loved tropical plants too..when I lived in Massachusetts I’d ofter buy a bunch of Birds of Paridise at the florist just to make a bouquet for the table!
Thank you, Cathy! The tropicals are so pretty, but damn, I miss the scent of lilacs!
Huddled in front of the fire [actually fighting for a place with the wee fur babies is more like it] I am a teensy bit jealous of all that sun. It is hosing down here.
Life in a different hemisphere! Sometimes I forget how very far away New Zealand is!
Photos from Paradise!
We’ve been having some exceptional weather!
