This week’s photo challenge asks us to share images of signs, and since taking pictures of unexpected/oddball signage is one of my oldest habits (seriously!!) I have plenty to share. 🙂
The three “gallery” photos are from Chiswick, Paris and Brighton, respectively; the fourth/bottom shot was taken today on the access road to Tracking Station Beach. (Note: Hover your mouse on the individual pics to see their captions)
Ordinarily I hate misspellings, but there was something serendipitous about two Estas driving behind this guy! Gave us quite a chuckle on our way to the beach:
Until next time…

have to smile indeed… 😉
We all love crazy signs!
That’s right don’t EVER tip your flies there!
We were so stumped by that sign…until we Googled it, of course!😆
I love the last one ! 🙂
The last one was sitting outside a pizza place in Covent Garden. Perfect sentiment for all that goes on in that eclectic spot!
These are all so good… I see a lot but never get to snap them…
Thank you!! We loved seeing that van pull in front of us!
Thanks for the smiles. Samuel Johnson was quite correct. 🙂
London certainly exceeded our expectations…it was right up there with NYC in terms of activity level…and FOOD!
I not only enjoyed your signs but I learned something because I didn’t have a clue what fly tipping was. LOL
We passed that sign on some back alley walking from a rail station and were totally stum ped! I mean for real..”fly tipping?” It doesn’t even remotely hint at a definition!
What? The French language guard allows the use of the English word pickpockets?! Sacre bleu! 😀
I think it may be one of those odd words for which there is no translation! I just put it through Google translate and the French came back identical to the English! Wierd right?
Great findings – I love them.
