Weekly Photo Challenge: Scale (Iceland)

For this week’s challenge I pulled the best shots from our trip to Reykjavik and the Ring Road. Nothing says scale better than Iceland’s sweeping vistas and urban contrasts.

No real sun while we were there…and it was very cold and miserably wet! I can’t say we actually liked Iceland, but it was a memorable stop enroute to London!

Until next time…

  1. I did have to chuckle when I saw a post coming from Florida about Iceland. 🙂 Gorgeous shots. I love the pops of color in the first photo. Iceland is kind of like Alaska to me – lovely to look at but I get my share of ice and cold right here. LOL

        • We’ve seen those eps too! 🙂 In fact, how wierd is this? When we were searching Airbnb for Reykjavik apartments one of the House Hunters’ families had theirs listed! Beautiful place…but too rich for our blood!! The one we booked was half the price!

  3. Ever since I read a book about Leif Erikson as a kid I have wanted to visit Iceland. Looks very cool. I also saw this Icelandic movie once. It was a murder mystery and the main thing I remember is how the protagonist bought a cooked sheep’s head at the drive through.
