Wordless Wednesday: December 26, 2012

Today’s Wordless Wednesday is a picture of my favorite present from Christmas 2012: a hot pink market/grocery basket:

Hot Pink Market/Grocery Carrier

I love this carry-all. 🙂  We live across the street from Publix (literally) and one block north of Target, so I walk to the stores all the time.

The frame is ultra lightweight aluminum and collapses for easy storage. The frilly canvas cover attaches via velcro strips that fold securely over the frame to each side of the handle.  It measures 9.5″ tall x 18″ wide x 11″ deep, but best of all, the handle has a nice long “drop” (10″) allowing for tons of grocery purchases.

A big thank you to Maggie for finding such a fun, useful gift at Books-a-Million➡ also across the street ( 😉 literally.)

On December 1st, Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce hosted their annual DECA Bazaar.  This juried craft extravaganza is the epitome of shopping local and each table featured unique, handcrafted items from Treasure Coast artisans. 🙂  A booth of painted African gourds was among the most spectacular:
